With over 30 plus years in the entertainment industry, Steven Michael Zack (or SMZ as he is known), started out as a professional actor (Actors Equity) and director in the professional Musical Theater circuit. He has starred in several productions (both nationally and regionally) in such roles as Fred in Kiss Me Kate, The Phantom in Phantom, Lancelot In Camelot, Billy Flynn in Chicago and as The Beast in Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, to name a few.

As a writer of Country music, he has toured from NYC to TN to LA and back and was the front man for the NYC based country band Revel Cry.

SMZ is a student of both The Filmmakers Academy (Formerly Shane Hurlbut’s Inner Circle) and of The Stan Winston School for the Character Arts (where he studied SFX and VFX) and is a graduate of The American Musical And Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in NYC.

After owning and operating Ranger 7 Studios for fifteen years, he has now closed the full-service side of the business to focus exclusively on Directing and Producing films.
